So, I thought I'd post the link, and invite you to join in the fun! It isn't too late to start, and it might even challenge you to think a little or do some genuine self-reflection! :)

Have you noticed that we haven't posted an update on the blog recently?

We want you to know that not only is updating the blog with our latest designs on our radar, but we also have a few other things up our sleeves...

First, the perfectionist in me really wanted to give every single one of our weddings due credit on the blog. I am finally coming to terms. Because of the lapse in time since last publishing anything on our beloved blog, it might take a little too long to individually dedicate an entire post to all those precious weddings!

So, we will still be highlighting all the weddings of 2010 and 2011, but in a few separate blog-worthy posts!

Right now, though, Prestigious Petals is gearing up for the busy 2012 wedding season and has been working very hard on updating our branding!

That's right! We will soon be launching a brand new website, brand new logo, and some brand new marketing!

Watch out, 2012, we're hitting the streets!

Fourth of July Weekend Wedding

Put together some fun flowers for a wedding over the 4th of July weekend for Jessica & Tom!












She had vibrant colored bouquets to go with Navy Blue bridesmaids dresses...














The bride decided to have some blue iris in her bouquet to tie the colors together!

Last week's wedding was a color combination of slate blue, green, silver, pewter, and white...extremely elegant and superbly stunning!

Special Order for a Special Momma's Birthday

2 of my aunts, uncle, and grandma chipped in and ordered an arrangement from me for my mom's birthday this year. I chipped in a little too to make it 3 times as special.

Over 2 dozen roses, peonies of plenty, vibrant colors, and some extraordinary specialty flowers from Kenya, Africa cooperate to make this arrangement pop!

The bride whose wedding I am doing this weekend's colors are blue, green, and white. Her bridesmaids ordered some coordinating flowers for the shower they threw her a few weeks ago and this is what we came up with!

Vibrant Colored Mother's Day

Whipped up a vibrantly colored arrangement for my momma for mother's day. She loves deep colors, bright colors, and jewel tones.
































And, I love using curly willow in anything and everything.
I absolutely love the organic and unconfined individuality it gives to arrangements.

Dark Red & White, A Simple Wedding

My first wedding of the season this past May was a simple wedding with the colors deep red, white, and silver. It seems red and white is a traditional color combination. This bride was on a tight budget and decided to do mini bouquets for her bridesmaids...simple & sleek nosegays. Take a look:
